Aurora’s PG College (1327), Chikkadpally, Hyderabad, organized a seminar titled “Future Skills for MCA Students” on 09 March 2026 at Aurora’s Seminar Hall. The program aimed to guide MCA students about the essential skills required to succeed in the rapidly evolving IT industry. The seminar covered important topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science and Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, Full Stack Development, Logical and Problem-Solving skills, Soft Skills and Communication, and Emerging Technologies like Blockchain, IoT, and Quantum Computing. The session helped students understand current industry trends and encouraged them to develop both technical and professional skills for better career opportunities. Participants were also provided with free lunch and participation certificates, making the event informative and engaging for all attendees.

Aurora’s PG College, Chikkadpally celebrated International Women’s Day Week with various competitions including nail art, poetry, essay writing, singing, mehendi, drawing, and elocution, encouraging students to showcase their creativity.
The celebrations concluded on 7th March 2026 in the Seminar Hall, featuring
Y. Saraswatamma (ASI), Traffic Police, Hyderabad, who delivered an inspiring talk to the students. The Principal also addressed the gathering, and prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions.
A felicitation ceremony was conducted for ASI Y. Saraswatamma, followed by a cake cutting ceremony. Gifts were presented to all women staff members, making the celebration joyful and memorable.

Aurora’s PG College, Chikkadpally launched the Entrepreneurship Connect Seminar Series with its inaugural online session on 18 February 2026 at 10:00 AM. The session featured Dr. Ravi Kanth Makarla, Professor – Accounting, Finance & Entrepreneurship. Hyderabad, who spoke on Spotting Opportunities: The Intersection of Market Needs and Financial Viability. He shared valuable insights on identifying market opportunities, understanding customer needs, and evaluating the financial feasibility of business ideas. The seminar provided students with practical perspectives on opportunity recognition and entrepreneurship. The event was organized by the Entrepreneurship Cell of Aurora’s PG College as part of its initiative to promote entrepreneurial thinking and innovation among students.

The SMART’S Investor Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Aurora’s PG College, Chikkadpally, Hyderabad, by Ms. Padmavati Selvam. The session provided students with valuable insights into financial planning, the power of compounding, mutual funds, Systematic Investment Plans (SIP), and investor rights and safety.
The highlight of the program was an interactive quiz in which students participated with great enthusiasm, demonstrating their understanding of smart and responsible investing. The college expresses its gratitude to Ms. Padmavati Selvam for guiding and motivating students to become informed and prudent investors.

The Kotak Mahindra Bank Placement Drive was conducted at Aurora’s PG College, Chikkadpally, on 06 February 2026, with an impressive number of students participating enthusiastically.
The recruitment process comprised three rounds: Email Writing, Group Discussion, and a One-on-One Interview. The structured selection procedure enabled students to demonstrate their communication skills, analytical ability, and professional readiness.
The college extends its sincere appreciation to the HR team for their encouragement and for providing valuable feedback by highlighting individual strengths and areas for improvement. Such guidance is highly beneficial for students’ career development.

A special pooja was performed seeking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, invoking wisdom, knowledge, and prosperity. All the students and faculty participated in the pooja and sought the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati. The event was held on 8th January 2026 at the Seminar Hall. Students enthusiastically participated in Rangoli competition, showcasing their creativity and cultural spirit. All students adorned traditional attire, adding charm and cultural richness to the celebrations. Exciting prizes were awarded to the top-performing students encouraging talent and active participation.

Aurora’s PG College, Placement Cell, organised a Generative AI Skill Development Program aimed at enhancing students’ understanding of emerging AI technologies. As part of the initiative, 300+ students successfully completed a 3-hour Generative AI course and received certification upon completion. The program focused on developing practical, industry-relevant, and future-oriented AI skills.
The program was conducted in collaboration with Adobe under its CSR-driven digital skilling initiative, with certification provided through Coursera, a globally recognised learning platform.

Aurora’s Degree and PG College organized an enlightening workshop on Civil Services Prelims Mentorship, conducted by P. Krishna Pradeep, Founder and Chairman of Krishna Pradeep’s 21st Century IAS Academy. With over 21 years of experience, he has mentored numerous aspirants in their journey towards civil services.
During the session, Mr. Pradeep provided valuable insights into Prelims preparation strategies, exam patterns, key subject areas, and effective time management techniques. He emphasized the importance of conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and a structured approach to tackling the exam.
The interactive session allowed students to gain clarity on the Civil Services Prelims, ask their queries, and receive expert guidance. His words of encouragement and practical tips left students motivated and better prepared to navigate their preparation journey with confidence.

On 6th March 2025, MBA 1st and 2nd-year students from Aurora's Degree and PG College visited T-Hub, Hyderabad. The visit aimed to provide insights into the start-up ecosystem and entrepreneurial growth.
